Social skills: -1

Hi, I’m Leanne. You’ve probably never heard of me because I’m bad at making new friends and I spend most of my time in the tent, behind the scenes and hiding in the dark corners of the studio pretending to be a flying sparrow. For those in N.E.mation!9, you probably remember me as the girl with huge maroon glasses and had this strange obsession with Adventure Time and confetti. ANYWAYS, I’m writing this blog post to tell you about MY thoughts about N.E.mation!9. How exciting!

N.E.mation!9 was pretty cool

So how did we even end up here? Well this goes back to summer of twenty th- – Okay so long story short, we signed up with the current group when we were sec ones because we were all like “YEAH, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST DECISION EVER, WE’RE GONNA WIN THIS!” but things did not go as planned and we decided to try again after our teacher-in-charge told us about N.E9. We were quite hesitant because we were worried our studies would clash with the one week top ten selection, but we decided to join and solve the problems as they come…乁༼☯‿☯✿༽ㄏ

And now.. I’m going to babble about my memories of N.E.mation!

Memory One:

It was the night before submission, Leanne sat on her desk trying to be creative and find a good story, a story worth telling, a story that would be able to be turned into an animation! Only one more hour before the end of submission and Leanne managed to finish writing two stories, “THIS IS RIDICULOUS, WHY DO WE ALWAYS DO THINGS LAST MINUTE?! AND WHY IS IT ALWAYS MY JOB?!?!?!”, she yelled as she clenched her fists in anger. (Also, I sat in my room listening to NDP songs on repeat and crying about my sad, sad life  ᕕ༼✿•̀︿•́༽ᕗ but its ok because I made it to the finish line) (sorta.)

we got in anyways but I could only submit two stories. lolololololololol

Memory Two:

During production, I would always be the one to wake everyone up. Oh man… I would have to call and text each person like five times.

she promised to wake up early but she broke her promise

Memory Three:

This happens like twice a day

This happens like twice a day

Sleep. What happens when a teenager lacks sleep and decides to sleep late? They start snoozing off during the day. This usually happens in the car or in the tent.

Memory Four:

Food. Lots of it.

Food. Lots of it.

If I see another vanilla flavoured london choco roll, I will scream. Sugar kept us going, it pretty much replaced sleep.

Memory Five:

This is probably my favourite memory, laughing when Gan fell flat on her face in the midst of nagging at Sab for dropping the christmas tree, playing pranks on Mr Nik and stealing his peach butt keychain, talking to JJKn (they are literally the sweetest people on earth!), laughing at Mel’s really bad lyric memory and crawling through little gaps in the studio.

Though we might have our little disputes, we managed to cross the finish lines holding hands and I guess that’s what really matters. Being able to know each other better, spending time together and learning to accept each other, even though we are not the ideal team, I’m positive that we have something special because it feels like a dream to be in the top ten with these silly goons  ꒰⁎❛⃘ੌ ᵕ ❛⃘ੌ⁎꒱
